Getting started
What services can Aouad Associates coordinate?+
We connect accounting and bookkeeping, controller and CFO support, consulting and outsourcing, transaction advisory, audit preparation, digital systems, ACA and employee benefits support, and specialized tax preparation through David G. Senger Accounting & Tax Services.
Do you work with clients outside the Lehigh Valley?+
Yes. We have Lehigh Valley roots and an existing client base across Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Florida, and California, with coordinated remote support available nationwide.
How do we choose the right service level?+
Start with the immediate pain point: late books, weak reporting, uncertain cash flow, tax needs, an audit deadline, a transaction, or disconnected systems. The team then recommends the appropriate ongoing or project support.
Can we begin with one service and expand later?+
Yes. Support can start with one focused need and expand as reporting, controls, transactions, technology, or leadership requirements change.
Do you provide accounting services in Allentown and across the Lehigh Valley?+
Yes. Our office is in Allentown, Pennsylvania. We serve businesses across the Lehigh Valley through in-person and hybrid support, and provide every service nationwide through remote and hybrid delivery with travel as needed.
Accounting, advisory and tax
What is included in bookkeeping support?+
Support may include transaction coding, reconciliations, cleanup work, monthly close, financial statements, and a more dependable handoff for tax preparation, depending on the engagement.
When does a business need controller or CFO support?+
Controller support helps with close procedures, controls, reporting that compares budgets with actual results, payroll oversight, and management reporting. CFO support adds forecasting, cash flow strategy, financing, KPIs, board reporting, and decision support.
When should a growing Lehigh Valley business hire a fractional CFO?+
A fractional CFO may help when growth outpaces cash flow, forecasts are unreliable, lenders or boards need stronger reporting, ownership faces a major investment or transaction, or the business needs senior financial leadership without a full-time CFO position.
Who provides tax preparation?+
Tax preparation is provided through David G. Senger Accounting & Tax Services, an Aouad Associates LLC company DBA, serving business, personal, global, private client, and state and local tax needs.
Do you prepare financial statements for an audit?+
We provide audit preparation and internal audit support, including reconciliations, schedules, document organization, control review, and auditor coordination. We do not represent ourselves as the independent licensed CPA firm issuing the audit opinion.
Systems and communication
Can you work with our existing software?+
Yes. We support and improve workflows involving commonly used platforms such as QuickBooks, BILL, Sage, ADP, and other approved systems appropriate to the client.
How is pricing determined?+
Pricing begins with the support level and is refined for transaction volume, entity count, system condition, reporting complexity, deadlines, and required cleanup or implementation work.
How do clients share documents?+
Use the designated secure client workflow for sensitive records. Social Security numbers, tax returns, banking data, payroll records, and identity documents should not be sent through ordinary unsecured email.
How do we begin?+
Request a quote or schedule a call. Sharing your main pain point, current accounting system, number of entities, and desired timeline helps the team prepare.
Security and privacy
How do you protect client information?+
Our layered program includes SentinelOne endpoint protection, designated encrypted workflows for client data, multifactor authentication, access based on roles, backup and response planning, staff safeguards, and a Written Information Security Plan aligned with IRS and FTC guidance.
Is ordinary email appropriate for tax documents?+
No. Sensitive records should be exchanged through the designated secure client channel. Ordinary email is not treated as a secure portal for tax documents.
Does security depend on one software product?+
No. Endpoint protection is one layer. Secure systems, limited access, written procedures, staff awareness, backups, incident response, and ongoing review work together.
Does IRS alignment mean the firm is IRS certified?+
No. Program alignment is not an IRS certification, an independent security attestation, or a guarantee that every threat will be prevented.
